Help
Undone is designed to be simple to use, but here's a quick guide to the terminology:
Action a single job or piece of work, such as 'email Fred to ask for a print quote.'
Project a job or piece of work that is comprised of more than one action, such as 'Produce Christmas card to send to clients.'
Tag a non-exclusive description for an action. For example, An action could be tagged both 'billable work' and 'Stuff I do at my Desk'. Separate tags with commas. Spaces between words are ok, other whitespace and non-alphanumeric characters will be removed.
Tags are a handy way of sorting and classifying actions. They are there to let you describe what the action is by grouping it with other related actions. GTD people might like to use a single tag per action and treat it as the context.
Time tracking
Undone can track time for you at the same time as tracking actions. At this stage, hours are tracked and displayed. Future plans include reports, which will make it easy to use Undone for tracking and billing your time.
Privacy
This is important! By default your profile is available to the world. Your use of the site is subject to these terms. They may look boring, but please read them anyway. Your privacy settings are customisable, please read on to find out more.
Public and Private information in Undone
By default, your entire account is publicly-viewable. If you mark some projects as private, they will be hidden from your public page (as will any actions under them). You can also hide your profile entirely by switching off 'Make my profile visible to the World' on the settings page. If you do this all your projects and their actions will be hidden, regardless of the Privacy settings on individual projects.
